MAPS & MAPPING

Maps produced as part of the project illustrate the health and/or viability of the four conservation targets.

These maps can help inform conservation planning and actions on a broad scale by illustrating the landscape level health of the Southern Eastern Slopes.  On a finer scale the maps help identify areas under high ecological stress, such as habitat loss or fragmentation as well as key healthy, connected or intact areas that need to be maintained through conservation actions.

The interactive DataBasin mapping tool allows users to zoom in and out of areas of interests along the Southern Eastern Slopes as well as turn on different layers to see how various ecosystem indicators interact across the landscape.
